Original intaglio and relief prints inspired by landscape.
The land as it is lived in is what interests me; even my rural landscapes feature the marks of habitation. Subjects include: the domestic city scene, urban landscapes, walls, hedges and paths and the woodland that exists secretly within cities.
I started my career as a painter. Then, since I enjoy working in series, I learned the techniques of fine art printmaking - relief, etching and drypoint - and began making sets of prints to complement my paintings.
I now concentrate on printmaking, though I still love to use a wide range of media.
